Client Story
JobReady by LearningMate Develops Stand-Alone Digital Course Catalog for San Antonio Ready-to-Work (SARTW) Training Providers

Background
As part of a voter-approved, three-year workforce development initiative to upskill the local workforce and help adults enter career pathways to secure better jobs the City of San Antonio (COSA) set out to train 28,000 local adults by partnering with local workforce and education providers. To implement the initiative, COSA awarded four Prime recipients to help intake eligible applicants and place them into one of the more than 70 approved SARTW training providers offering over 900 approved courses. While COSA provided case managers with an initial printable 363-page course catalog to help trainers and participants explore career opportunities in San Antonio, the vast number of options and ongoing manual process of updating and approving courses became highly time-consuming. In addition, gathering and analyzing data from training providers proved challenging. As a result, COSA needed a digital course catalog to streamline the process and partnered with JobReady by LearningMate, a SARTW-approved training provider with over 70 listed and approved courses.
